Kylie, thank you so much for Saturday! I’ve just had the greatest weekend of my life! You were great and everyone looked beautiful. It was so nice having you with us getting ready in the morning, OH and the pool party the next day went well!
This urban cool human being, Lucy, contacted me wanting a cool, rocky, bohemian look for her wedding day. At our initial consultation Lucy explained she wanted her skin looking immaculate and bronzed, regardless of the weather, her eyes to look sexy and smokey and her very fine hair to look fuller, glossy and wavy with beachy texture.
Check those lashes! Lucy had inserts pre wedding prep and I filled in any gaps ( this is totally normal, they exfoliate over time if you’re washing your face properly .) Lucy like myself had a distinct distain for make up wipes and to my utter joy she loved washing and pampering her face properly. During our consultation and during the trial she ended up with a shopping list of goodies I recommended for her skin type and desired look.
As a fine hair grower, wearer and styling specialist I gave Lucy an oomphy blow dry with thickening sprays ( Mark Hill and L’Oreal ) and set into Babyliss rollers. This ensured absolute maximum volume.
Lucy’s gorgeous Maids and Mumma also opted for some hair glamour. Annie had super thick and super long hair. She wanted bohemian waves with a plait on one side with flowers. Fiona who you can see below, wanted something Downton Abbey inspired with a secret garden, bohemian edge, reflecting the vibe of the day and her outfit. We gave her a soft chignon which was dotted with gypsophila and baby’s breath. Laura, another lady of the super fine hair crew – seriously I should set up a group! had a blow dry, tousled soft waves and a side plait to suit her short bob. This, again was adorned with flowers. Lucy’s Mumma had a glam blow dry to let her incredible 70’s inspired YSL outfit do the talking.
Seriously, how happy is this lady to be getting married to her beau!?
Jennifer Aniston inspired sexy sophistication.
A little side back view of Lucy’s VERY pregnant and utterly radiant Bridesmaid Alex. Alex we fit in at the last minute as Lucy and I knew she needed some pampering too. I put some heat and product through Alex’s gorgeous pregnancy hair and whipped it into a few knots at the back creating a dance, sweat proof and hug proof simple updo. We decorated it with flowers. She rocked it and looked incredible.
How gorgeous is this couple?
