Today’s tropical bridal shower inspiration styled shoot is just bursting with colorful, tropical, pineapple loving inspiration! Put together by Rebecca K at London’s first wedding space Hive, the shoot give us so much winning, pinning, giddy jump-up-and-down excitement it’s hard not to just tell you to skip ahead to all of Maxeen Kim‘s fabulous photos.
But here are the highlights, that we implore you not to miss. Not only do we have loads of bridal shower party ideas, cute bridesmaid gifts, tropical sweet treats and cocktails, and trendy green and white floral crown inspiration – all of these details could be just as easily used at your bachelorette or wedding alike!
Take the high bridal bun inspiration for example, wouldn’t it be great with a classic, city bride look? The little bundt cakes would be such a cute wedding dessert addition, and the monstera leaf cookies as a guest favor! We are particularly jazzed about the pineapple accents everywhere, the white and gold pineapple cake, the little cocktail shakers and of course the pink baby pineapples set with the floral arrangements.
From the Planner
We put this bridal shower inspiration together in a fabulous wedding community here in London, the HIVE. The inspiration for our bridal shower was a bride-to-be who grew up by the beach and lived in the city. She wanted to celebrate with her closest friends and planned a beautiful party with touches of tropical elements in a stylish way.
We decided to keep a very fresh palette of white and green with splashes of gold and blue. The blue was a little reminder of the sea and the gold was a little bit of sparkle and fun for the occasion. The flowersmimicked the same idea. Instead of going over the top tropical, we added small touches of tropical with the mini pineapples and leaves. Instead of having all of the flowers be over the top tropic, we added in lots of greens and whites to add a very feminine look to the bride to be!
The bride provided her bridesmaids with amazing party gifts that included temporary tattoos, local London gins for their cocktails, champagne flavored gold lollipops, London made pink nail polish and lots of confetti for the day.
The girls gathered for together an intimate girls night of of dancing, cocktail making and splurging on delicious sweets including a pineapple cake, mini but cakes, palm cookies and “spiked” sweets that included process and rose dummies!
The future Mrs. is from a sun filled area where her and her soon to be Mr. met. They now live in London and love a bit of nature, yoga and enjoying a healthy lifestyle. However, this bride-to-be also likes a little bubbly and a little style with splashes of gold and sparkle. The “Sassy Spritzer” station was a twist on regular cocktails. These cocktails were all wine based and lighter, perfect for a summer celebration!
