Gem wanted a boho look for her wedding in Brading on the Isle of Wight; a plait detail half up half down hair style and a naturally defined eye makeup with super gorgeous skin.

Gem wanted to treat her lovely Mum, Pam to a mature, elegant make up and a volumising modern blow dry. Pam would be walking Gem down the aisle so she wanted to ensure she looked and felt as special as possible.

Hair set into rollers is the perfect way to inject body and volume into fine locks. Gem, like many of my brides has very fine hair, we wanted it to look as full of life as possible. Babyliss rollers, a Yogi wand and Mark Hill and L’Oreal styling sprays ensured perfect bounce. Delicate braid plaits framed Gem’s face beautifully and were then adorned with fresh flowers.

For Gem’s make up we made the most of her beautiful complexion, covering any lingering blemishes with correctors and concealers, massaging away puffiness with an acid cleanser, moisturisers and a mask and adding bronzer and liquid highlighter for a super healthy glow. We complimented her eyes with cluster lashes, and shimmery earth tones.

That is one proud Mumma if ever you saw one, right? Beautiful Pam looking resplendent for her baby. We spent some time ensuring Pam’s fascinator was perfectly situated on her head as we weren’t keen on showing the headband. It worked beautifully with her outfit so with some spray and subtle hair situation we were good to go!
