Fran booked me for her Clapton Country Club wedding as she wanted an effortless, tousled hair style to compliment her epic flower crown and a red lip. Fresh, glowing, natural skin and lashes came as standard.
Fran’s trial was one of those that literally went perfectly the first time round as she knew exactly what she wanted and I adored that about her.
During Fran’s trial I prepped and ran heat through her hair with Bumble and Bumble’s vitamin spray, and L’Oreal’s Curl Spray. We straightened bits into an S shape and tonged others with a barrel. I added VO5 thickening powder at the roots for volume and Bumble and Bumble’s dream cream from the mid length downwards for texture.
Fran wanted a warm- tan wash over her eyes and super subtle definition blended into her lashes. We ended up using eye liner for just a smudge more definition as I thought with the crown and the lip her eyes may get a little lost.
I was also entrusted with helping the bridesmaids look gorgeous. We did some lush waves, half ups with plaits and simple chignons for ladies that don’t usually do anything with their hair. They felt suitably glamorous with coppery and taupe eye makeup and plenty of mascara. Fran’s Mum wanted to keep everything natural so we teamed a wash of shimmery mink pigment on her eyes with glowing mauve-pink cheeks and a pink lip.
Bridesmaids GOALS. These gorgeous ladies looked after Fran all morning in the most chilled out way. A couple of them ordered breakfast for us- Maccy D’s and went to pick it up, others tidied the space and the rest made tea. A super chilled, coffee and hash brown filled morning with laid back tunes. The perfect pre wedding environment.
Fran wears Hourglass Lip Opaque Rouge in Raven. The very same I wore on my own wedding day.
