Emma wanted a natural defined makeup and modern take on a sixties ponytail for her wedding day in Sussex.
During her trial we toyed with a low ponytail. It was tied at the nape of the neck. Emma loved it, it was a gorgeous do but she decided she wanted it higher with more wavy tendrils at the front. We gave her already incredibly full, lush hair more volume and set it in rollers for some bounce and swish.
Emma had the most gorgeous skin, especially during her trial! On the day she was a little dehydrated and her skin had become a little stressed- this is all TOTALLY normal and understandable. After a gentle acid exfoliation, eye mask, face massage and beautiful skin work she was totally ready to rock some amazing eyelashes and her favourite pink lipstick.
Various derma colour shades were used for said blemishes, blending with a Bobbi Brown Foundation and Tinted moisturiser. We still wanted a ‘ barely there’ look, dotting the heavier coverage only where absolutely needed. This meant her natural radiance shone through. We finished with Cover FX illuminators and MUD Cosmetics blushers.
Emma’s bridesmaids opted for textured low up dos. Very effortless, and very cool and modern. One of her maids’ hair texture was that amazing in itself I ran some heat through it with a hair dryer, added product and popped it up as it was. No curling wand needed.
I blow dried Emma’s Mum’s hair and gave her a subtle last minute makeup that comprised of a defined eye, some subtle shimmers to open her blue eyes up and lots of liner and mascara to make everything pop. Her glorious skin was enhanced with Kiehl’s BB Cream and some bronzing blushers.
