āI knew from the moment you replied to my first email that you were āthe oneā ā as you know, Iād found it quite hard to find a hair & make-up artist for just one person and I was starting to find it all quite upsetting. But there you were so friendly and kind, regularly giving me great advice not just about hair and make-up products, but also providing helpful tips for the day itself. Obviously you are very talented and so you made me look the best I ever have (and ever will!) both at the trial and the wedding. But what was extra special was that you also helped me feel great.ā
I chose Kylie as my wedding make up artist as I have a history of skin problems and wanted to be really confident in my skin all day. Kylie really took the time to understand my skin type and what I liked and gave me a really beautiful bridal look that lasted throughout and helped me feel comfortable in front of the camera. Kylie was also great at giving more general skincare advice, and was just a lovely person to chat with as she worked her magic!

ā Kylie was recommended to me by our wedding planner for hair and makeup for our summer wedding at Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey, and as soon as I looked at her website I knew sheād be the right person for me. Iād had problem skin for decades and it was something I was really nervous about for the day of the wedding. It was clear from Kylieās website that she was sympathetic and specialised in making brides look and feel good, rather than just trying to cover up blemishes. This was all confirmed in our initial consultation, which was one of the first times that I felt anyone had really listened to me about all my skin woes and taken them seriously. She gave me some recommendations for dermatologists I could see in the run-up to the wedding to try to improve my skin and gave me some suggestions for skincare, but reassured me that sheād be able to deal with whatever I turned up with on the day. I felt like I was in completely safe hands. And actually the advice she gave me was the push I needed to see someone to get my skin sorted, and after treatment itās been completely clear now for almost a year, which feels like a miracle ā I completely owe that to her.
My trial was brilliant ā after I sent Kylie pictures of my dress, she had a really clear vision for my makeup and hair and I put myself entirely in her hands, with the most perfect results. By the time I got to the wedding day, I was genuinely excited to see the finished look ā which was a real change from how under-confident Iād been feeling a few months before. And we had so much fun on the wedding morning! Kylie really put me at ease on a day that could have been stressful and she created such a relaxed, bright and happy atmosphere. My bridesmaids all loved their makeup as well and all of us felt so pampered. My mum had her makeup done too and had some very specific skin concerns that Kylie took a lot of time to talk through with her and even followed up with her after the wedding with skincare suggestions, which was above and beyond. Overall, the part of my wedding I was most nervous about turned out to be the best. Iāve never felt as genuinely glamorous as I did on my wedding day, while also feeling so comfortable. I love that in my photos I still look like myself.
