Why I am a Makeup Artist, Why I specialise in Skincare and how that benefits you…
Lots of my Brides over the years come to me because they’ve had a not so great makeup trial with a less experienced ( and often cheaper) trial with another Artist. They usually have had a skin concern that the other Artist hasn’t understood properly or catered for and has given them a very generic service with aggravating skin care products and lots of ‘piled on’ makeup. So, I decided to combine my love of minimal, fresh base with gorgeous eye makeup with tailored skincare for my clients.
In short, I help you and your skin feel comfortable, look clearer, glowier and healthier.
A few of my many loves…
Ingredients labels- I love knowing what makes up a product.
Charity/ Vintage shops- I have a thing for crystal glass and art at the moment.
Bright lipstick- my faves are pink and red. Rarely without it.
Long balmy walks along the river with my husband and son- preferably with snacks and alcohol at the end.
Films. Mostly action. I grew up watching Schwarzenegger, Stallone & Van Damme.
Proper coffee & chocolate. And Champagne- Bollinger’s a fave.
Reading. Maps, books, magazines, ingredients labels. I’ll read anything.
TV taste varies from Man on the Inside to The Punisher. And music. I love music.
Holidays. To warm, sunny places. I have soft spots for Seville, The Balearics and California.
Home renos. You name it, we’ve ripped it out and re built it. Currently working on our 1960’s dream- home- semi.
