Best for acne sufferers

It’s a 50 factor, works great under Makeup and comes Dermatologist recommended by Dr Emma Wedgeworth at Dr Sam Bunting’s clinic. I find it really unusual to find a Doctor recommended, Cruelty Free SPF.

The website says all, which is does but Ive found it most useful for acne prone/ oilier skin types with larger pores. Don’t get it in your eyes if you’ve got sensitive skin.

Best for on the go top ups

It’s super hydrating and perfect for on the go top ups under and over makeup. I went to a wedding recently and really wish I had it to hand as everything was outdoors. No scent. So perfect for sensitive skins. One minus is the pump action, it’s not an aerosol so not as convenient as Bondi Sands.

Best for very lightweight hydration

Great for skin that needs to stay hydrated without the sticky feel. Super lightweight to wear. It’s also super protective- have you ever seen a Japanese person with sun damage wrinkles?…No scent. Works well under makeup if your skin isn’t super dry.

All. Dries to a satin matte so if you prefer that to a ‘sticky’ hydration then this is for you.

Fragrance free, non irritating, cheap AND it’s cruelty free and made in the UK. And you can get it at the supermarket. Oh, AND it’s great under makeup.

Drier skins will appreciate it more. Great for sensitive skins with intolerances to fragrance and the ‘stinging’ that comes with most SPF’s.

Best for older skin that needs some TLC

Great for: Those with ageing skin; those who don’t wear makeup; work in a high pollution, outdoor environment and you want some nourishment during the day without the hassle this is for you. My Dad is a Black Cab Driver and loves wearing this.

Normal, Ageing, those with drier skins that don’t like to feel they’re wearing SPF/ moisturiser.

Best for ageing, menopausal skin

Great for women going through the menopause as it sinks in very quickly and isn’t sticky at all. It’s really mattifying. Don’t wear with makeup though as it doesn’t sit right.

BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN KIDS SPF50 BROAD SPECTRUM £12
Best for leaving no white cast at all

It’s great for darker skins, hence the name. You can apply 1.4 tsp and it leave no residue or white cast. It’s fragrance free, leaves no ‘zingy’ feeling at all and doesn’t feel sticky once dried. I did notice that it absolutely smells like paddling pool plastic but once absorbed the smell goes away.

Darker skins and those with oilier skins will like this as it feels light in texture. My husband loves wearing it and has a fairly sensitive, oilier complexion.

In the UK from Candour Beauty. I received mine after 3 or so working days. It’s a US brand so you can also grab it from Target or Ulta.

It’s great for ALL skin tones as it leave no white residue. When I’m feeling lazy I use it all over my body on the way out the door. Also great for kids top ups. Zero fragrance and very little alcohol chemical smell.

The pump system gives you the right does straightaway, it feels silky smooth on the skin and the Niacinamide means your skin won’t feel clogged after use.

Everyone can use it, it’s especially great for sensitive skin types and those that don’t like using Titanium Dioxide SPF’s ( eye sting when you use SPF? It’s probably the TD).
