Amélie found me via a Google search for a sensitive skin specialist Makeup Artist that could help her reactive skin feel soothed, comforted and luminous for her wedding day. She was going through the latter stages of Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW)/ Red Skin Syndrome and wanted a natural wedding makeup that enhanced her beautiful eyes and facial features whilst feeling lightweight rather than camouflaged and cakey.
We chose fragrance free makeup and skincare, focusing on protecting the skin barrier and a soft makeup brush is always a winner! I also didn’t use mascara on Amélie so that later on in the evening when she took her makeup off she could use minimal movements and products to remove it.
Skin Type: Compromised skin barrier due to Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Still very dry and inflamed in places.
