THE BEST MASCARAS AND WHY THEY’RE AMAZING ( AND CRUELTY FREE)
I’ve tried and tested my fair share of mascaras. I’ve found most expensive ones are absolutely rubbish. These are all faves of mine personally and in my professional makeup artist kit. They range from fragrance free mascara, tubing mascaras, waterproof mascaras and volumising and lengthening mascaras.
This mascara was sent to me by the brand, them knowing that I don’t write fake reviews. I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used. It’s tubing, doesn’t transfer, is really easy to apply and the LENGTHENING it gives. INSANE. One coat is usually enough but if I want a really punchy vibe then I do two.
Remove with warm water ( tubing mascara benefits ) and fully cleanse after.
The instant volume that comes with this mascara is brilliant. I usually pop one coat one as I’m rushing out the door but when I’m going to town I add two for even lusher, fuller, voluminous lashes. it’s not waterproof but it IS smudgeproof and doesn’t flake (unless I’m in a really humid or sweaty environment).
Best removed with a nourishing/ creamy cleanser rather than a foaming one.
Really the best higher end waterproof mascara I have EVER used. I buy without fail for every single Bride. It’s almost impossible to take off as once it’s on those lashes it STICKS. You’ll need an oil to really massage those lashes. I don’t recommend for everyday wear for this reason. Super easy to apply, even with smaller eyes and hooded lids as the wand isn’t too big and it’s curved.
I would apply it BEFORE false eyelash application if you wanted to combine the two. Or you’ll find it difficult to remove them both when cleansing.
The absolute best, ‘budget’, ‘drugstore’ mascara you will buy. And it’s completely waterproof, smudgeproof and voluminises and lengthens. Like the Eyeko mascara you can’t wear it everyday- I actually had to stop wearing it as I found it so difficult to remove it every night, but for your wedding, special occasion or event makeup it’s a BRILLIANT choice.
I would apply it BEFORE false eyelash application if you wanted to combine the two. Or you’ll find it difficult to remove them both when cleansing. Remove with an oil cleanser, if you don’t have one use a Sunflower/ another cooking oil.
